TerraSpec 4 Hi-Res Mineral Spectrometer

Types Accessories Software

Recognized as the de facto technology for mineralogical analysis, the rugged portable TerraSpec mineral spectrometers are trusted by top geologists for performing fast, precise geologic exploration. Now the upgraded TerraSpec 4 Hi-Res mineral analyzer brings new levels of efficacy to mineral exploration technology. This state-of-the-art mineral spectrometer offers enhanced performance in the SWIR 1 and 2 regions and a 6 nm resolution to help you determine the viability of mineral exploration targets faster and more precisely than ever before. These enhancements provide you with the ability to capture accurate spectral data more quickly, especially for samples with darker mineral features.

  • Enhanced optical configuration provides more precise spectral results for superior spectrum clarity and definition.
  • 2x the performance in the SWIR 1/SWIR 2 regions translates into better alteration mineral analysis.
  • Improved portability features, including a new backpack and standard 802.11g Wi-Fi, help you move through exploration field sites more freely.
  • Standard ruggedized steel covered fiber optic cable ensures consistent spectral quality.
  • No need for sample prep, which means fast field scans.

For mining exploration geologists, these improvements translate into faster data capture at exploration targets and drilling sites. The improved data quality provided by the TerraSpec 4 Hi-Res mineral spectrometer also allows for accurate assessment of low-concentration and low-reflectance minerals, like iron-containing minerals such as serpentines and chlorites, which were previously difficult to measure.

The TerraSpec 4 Hi-Res mineral analyzer has been optimized for a range of mineral exploration applications, including deposit mapping.

Ergonomic Pro-Pack Backpack

The ASD Ergonomic Pro-Pack Backpack takes field portability to a higher level for FieldSpec, LabSpec, and TerraSpec customers requiring the ultimate in portability.

Fiber Optic Cables

Fiber optic cables are available in a variety of lengths and styles for different application requirements.

Fiber Checker Magnifiers

This ASD proprietary software and hardware diagnostic tool was developed so that people using ASD spectrometers can check the internal glass fibers built into the fiber optics. The Fiber Checker allows the user to reverse illuminate the VNIR, SWIR 1 and SWIR 2 regions individually or all together. By attaching the Optical Magnifier and counting the illuminated fibers, the user can then confirm that there are no broken fibers internally on the fiber optic cable

Hi-Brite Muglight (opsiyonel)

Designed for analysis of raw materials requiring reflectance and absorbance measurements of minerals and some inorganic material applications requiring a higher intensity light.

Hi-Brite Contact Probe

For non-destructive contact measurements and characterization of mineral and ore samples

Referance Panels

Reference panels are available in calibrated and non-calibrated diffuse white and gray, in varying sizes and reflectance levels, including encapsulated gray scale (NIST/NRC traceable) wavelength and USP standards for USP 1119.

goLab Mobile Work Station

The goLab™ Mobile Work Station acts as a wheeled carrier for streamlined transport between locations, and then quickly unfolds to support all your sampling needs “right on the spot”. For use with ASD’s full-sized portable spectrometers and spectroradiometers.
