Available in standard and pro models, the HandHeld 2 provides the ideal combination of performance, portability, and durability, at an affordable price. The HandHeld 2 spectroradiometer employs a high sensitivity detector array,
a low stray light grating, built-in shutter, DriftLock™ dark current compensation, and second-order filtering to produce high signal-to-noise spectra in under a second.
The HandHeld 2 offers streamlined field data acquisition with the imbedded light version of RS3™ remote sensing software. The results are shown on an integrated, high visibility color display so you are free to collect samples in challenging areas without the worry of carrying a computer.When tethered to a computer, the full-range of RS3 spectral data processing features are available.
Designed with an ergonomic dual position “D” handle, the HandHeld 2 spectroradiometer is equally convenient for right or left-hand operation. The rugged HandHeld 2 (Standard and Pro) devices are about the size of a pair of quality field binoculars and weigh 1.13 kg (under three pounds) including batteries. |

Both HandHeld 2 models deliver a wavelength range of 325–1075 nm with a resolution of <3.5nm at 700 nm. Upgrading to the Pro model provides a high-sensitivity 512-element photo-diode array spectroradiometer for faster integration times and increased (3X) sensitivity at a wavelength range of 325–1075 nm. Both models help you expedite fieldwork and reduce errors associated with changing environmental conditions. |
